How To Get The Star Rating To Display In The Organic Listings | SEO Tip

Our review building software has so many benefits; a lot of the time it’s just a matter of application to maximize value. One way to maximize value it to get your star rating to display in the regular organic portion of the search results (not the Google Maps section). This will give you a huge advantage in terms of conversion rate. Here is an example of the results that one of our clients achieved just a couple days after implementing this:

As you can see from this screenshot, the benefits here are obvious. If you implement this and your competitors have not, you are going to get a lot higher percentage of the clicks/ calls.

Implementation is actually extremely simple. All you have to do is add the following code to an internal page on the site (Google doesn’t allow the star rating to display on the homepage):

<div itemscope itemtype=”http://data-vocabulary.org/Review-aggregate“><span itemprop=”itemreviewed”>SEO Team</span><span itemprop=”rating” itemscope itemtype=”http://data-vocabulary.org/Rating“> is rated <span itemprop=”average”>5</span> out of <span itemprop=”best”>5</span></span> stars based on <span itemprop=”votes”>10</span> ratings and <span itemprop=”count”>10</span> <a href=”https://maps.google.com/?cid=13376356193390001505” target=”_blank”><font color=”#000000″>user reviews</font></a>.

You will just update the company name, star rating and link for your particular business. It’s best to tie the rating into an online profile, such as your Google Maps profile, Yelp, Facebook, etc.
